Simon Pierre Toussaint and Alice Knackfuss
Having graduated from the Academy of Fashion and Design, Munich 2009, Brussels-based fashion designer Alice Knackfuss gained experience at Kris Van Assche and Ute Ploier in Paris before teaming up with French talent Simon Pierre Toussaint to create the menswear project 'Dearest'. Simon Pierre graduated from the Antwerp Academy in 2008, and was the recipient of two awards at the Hyeres festival in 2009. Their joint project 'Dearest' was a part of the RA Paris exhibition for Autumn Winter 2011, and focused on the classics of the masculine wardrobe with wearable, creative, sensible forms. Dearest uses fabrics ranging from technical to classic?leather and net to wool and cotton. Simon Pierre is now concentrating on a career in art direction and styling, and Alice is focusing on her own womenswear collection entitled a.KNACKFUSS, debuting for Spring Summer 2012.
